Subscription and Commerce Group (SCG) builds the platform to power all of Microsoft's for-pay online subscriptions and e-commerce businesses, including Windows Live, Office Live, XBOX Live Zune and many others. We are part of the Ad & Monetization Group within Windows Live Platform. Our system today handles billions of dollars of transactions per year, millions of customer accounts worldwide, thousands of catalog offers, and dozens of partner service groups in a 24/7/365 operation. We are building the next generation digital commerce monetization platform. We want to hire program managers who are innovative and capable of building scalable, robust, secure and maintainable server software. As a member of the fast paced team you will be involved in enabling new business models, ship at internet time and make large impact across Microsoft.

As our businesses grow, we are looking for innovative ways to combat the fraudulent activities with investments in the next generation of the fraud and risk management systems. We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager that can help define the roadmap for our risk management strategies and execute on incremental milestones to deliver the risk management features to our platform. Your charter will be around building the world-class risk management and loyalty engines with deep roots on the data mining principles and decision systems. You will be working with a team of talented people to drive our risk management platform to the next level to help our internal businesses control their bottom-lines and grow their business with the better customer centric data.

You should have 7 years of direct experience shipping software products or services. You have demonstrated experience in working effectively in team environment, in cross-group situations and have proven communication skills. The ability to work with a large number of teams, understand their needs, and then reflect their needs back into actionable items for the product teams is a must. You are very good at planning, keeping deadlines, conducting meetings, and are results oriented. You understand and demonstrate significant skills in web services, data warehouse / mart design, data mining models, business applications, software development methodologies, API design, and process management. You bring a strong technology mindset with passion to deal with business issues and project management. You should be familiar with and be able to apply current technologies such as SQL, IIS, Security, XML, XSL, .Net, ASP.NET, SOAP, WSDL, and database technologies, etc. Prior experience in fraud detection and management will be a plus. A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
