You are invited to innovate for a billion$+ business as a PM on the e-commerce transaction service initiative. Subscription and Commerce Team within Ad and Monetization Platform group develops and operates a multi-million user worldwide platform serving Microsoft online businesses like Xbox Live, Office Live, Windows Live, MSN and etc. Within SCG we pride in innovation delivering safe, secure and scalable web services built on Windows and SQL serving rest of Microsoft businesses.

This position specifically has the responsibilities to drive our platform extensions to enable Cost Per Acquisition advertising model. The existing SCS platform has to leap from serving online subscriptions into large-scale transactions between millions of users and businesses. In this position, you will develop, scope and prioritize requirements, design and write functional specs, and drive the integration and launch. We have a consistent record of shipping twice a year and you will contribute to and benefit from an agile development environment. The systems and processes you design should scale to 10s of millions of users worldwide, billions of transactions, and hundreds of partners. You will live this environment amidst a group of talented engineers - dev/pm/test - and have great experience of delivering software as service. You will work in cross-group v-teams contributing for broader group goals with a profound impact to our battle in ad revenue arenas.

You should have 5 years of direct experience shipping software products or services as a PM or strong developer. You have demonstrated experience in working effectively in team environment, in cross-group situations and have proven communication skills. You are very good at planning, keeping deadlines, conducting meetings, and are results oriented. You understand and demonstrate significant skills in web services, business applications, software development methodologies, API design, and process management. Familiarity with application of technologies such as SQL, IIS, Security, XML, XSL, .Net, ASP.NET, SOAP, WSDL, Public Key Cryptography, payment technologies, etc is preferred. Prior experience in business applications (ERP/CRM/SCM), payments, and e-commerce applications will be a plus. A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
