We presently have an opening for Pre-Sale Engineer. The Pre-Sale Engineer is responsible for the following:

• Lead qualification including supporting sales with technical capabilities, and compatibility of Fair Isaac products with customer needs.
• Product presentation and demonstration including competitive product positioning and value proposition identification.
• Product evaluation management including identifies technical and business requirements needed for a positive evaluation and decision for Tools & Capabilities products.
• Initial delivery, installation, and review of the tools & capabilities products during a product evaluation.
• Informal training and mentoring on tools & capabilities products.
• Assist with design and implementation support during a customer evaluation to meet the specific application needs of the customer.
• Solution development including establishing relationships with customer's lead architects, developers, and business analysts to assess and meet specific customer needs.
• Custom demonstration development:
• Pilot engagement management and implementation.
• Trade show support.
• Marketing support including assisting Marketing with the development and support of corporate demonstrations.

4+ years of demonstrated success in at least one of the following areas:

• Sales consulting for data mining or predictive analytics software such as SAS Enterprise Miner or SPSS Clementine.
• Data mining professional services consulting developing predictive models such as decision trees, neural networks, and regressions.
• Credit risk modeling in financial services for outcomes such as default, delinquency, prepayment, attrition, using advanced techniques such as reject inference.
• Experience in project manager, business requirements analysis, business rules solution development and delivery experience, analytic model development and delivery experience, optimization solution design and development, or data warehouse management

• Statistical analysis, data mining, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
• Mathematical programming or linear & non-linear optimization.
• Monte Carlo simulation or numerical analysis.

• Must have strong statistical or scientific programming skills in SAS, SPSS, S-PLUS, MATLAB, or Mathematica.
• Some training in Java, C++, C# also preferred.

• MS Degree preferred.
