June 26, 2007. Noonan's Leadership, Vision Continue to Drive Success of Predictive Analytics Software Leader

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jack Noonan, president and chief executive officer of SPSS Inc. (Nasdaq: SPSS - News), was named a winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2007 award for the Lake Michigan Area program.

Noonan, who joined the company in 1992, was particularly cited by Ernst & Young for moving SPSS from a "one-product, one-vision" company into a dynamic organization with a platform of products and expanding growth opportunities. It was Noonan who, in 2002, led a strategic planning exercise that coined the term "predictive analytics" and created this new industry.
