We are currently seeking a logical thinker to help pioneer new territory as a Statistical Analyst for our Analytic Intelligence Group. This position is responsible for improving operational performance by recommending business strategies based on expert data mining and analysis. This is a highly visible role in an organization that values entrepreneurial thinking.

Responsibilities Include:

• Analyzing business strategies through data mining and predictive analysis projects
• Working with management to evaluate, interpret and recommend improvements for current business processes
• Consulting with end users to determine needs and create understanding of how data analysis promotes business success
• Designing and implementing action plans and decision support tools
• Identifying technical opportunities that offer potential to meet departmental and corporate goals

• Minimum 2 years experience in segmentation techniques, clustering and classification algorithms, predictive modeling technologies and statistical software packages (SAS, SPSS, Mini-Tab)
• Demonstrated experience translating high-level data mining and predictive analysis into business results
• Preferred technical capabilities in SQL, DB2 and/or Database Management
• Degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science or related field required. Masters degree preferred
