The applicant must be a US citizen and have, or be willing to apply for, a top-secret security clearance. We are known for a collegial work environment and for solving difficult challenges that require both cutting-edge research and practical expertise. Ongoing application areas include image recognition, fraud detection, text mining, risk scoring, market timing, political predictions, and national security. The top Programmer / Analyst applicant will have two (2) years of data mining experience and a Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline -- OR -- a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years related experience. We are looking for a self-starter, able to judge well among competing paths to explore, with strong programming skills and keen analysis ability, who is eager to work with highly-motivated colleagues and clients. A more senior position (Senior Data Miner) is also possible for an exceptional candidate with significant experience.
