Description: As a vital member and leader of the Customer
Strategy & Insights team, the Vice President of Customer & Business
Analytics will develop, implement and manage analytically-driven set
of planning/decision processes for SHC. You will lead the SHC
Analytics Center of Excellence tasked with infusing leading edge
analytic tools and techniques to improve daily decision making in
Retail - for both in-store and online behaviors. The SHC Center of
Analytics is a focused central group working on cross-enterprise
priorities, made up of experienced Analytics leadership talent
dedicated to specific functions/businesses. You will guide fact-based
analytic improvements to key decision processes supplemented by
outsourced skills and capacity. You will partner with cross-functional
business teams and be the champion of change in ensuring that SHC
embraces state-of-the-art analytic solutions. Your team will be fully
accountable on the outcome of analytics improvements implemented and
committed to enable significant impact on the Retail financial
performance of SHC.
Qualifications:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead cross-functional teams using advanced quantitative methods to solve complex business problems, manage customer relationships more effectively, and be the catalyst of change for the organization
- Identify opportunities to create value, growth, productivity/efficiency through application of more advanced/ granular analytics particularly around customer value/customer behavior issues
- Leverage state-of-the-art data mining tools and modeling techniques to drive improved decisioning
- Drive multi-channel analytics for Retail, online and integrated online/offline contexts
- Develop a high performance analytic team by selecting, training, coaching and developing effective leaders, staff and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with other analytics teams (Merchandising Analytics, Finance, Relationship Marketing, etc)
- Understand operational challenges, scope current state and baseline key performance metrics
- Reengineer existing processes as necessary to incorporate new and improved analytic frameworks
- Set up on-going reporting and tracking dashboards to continuously monitor impact
- Ensure EBITDA goals assigned to key Analytics Initiative(s) is realized
- Keep abreast of analytics & best practices from a wide range of industries
- Create toolkit enabling adoption of processes across SHC
- Identify information/information sources to improve ability to manage customer relationships
