Subject: New York, NY: Manager, CRM/Database Marketing Strategy at Digitas

The Digitas Health Strategy & Analysis Group is responsible for driving strategic thinking and economic insight across multiple client engagements. The position requires world class consulting skills and deep marketing analytics experience to provide strategic direction and insight driven analysis to our blue chip client roster. The ideal candidate has 5 years experience across a combination of strategy consulting, customer analytics and account planning. As a Manager, you will work at the direction of a Senior Leader and be responsible for assigned staff.

Detailed Description:

  • Provide integrated marketing analytical solutions across customers and channels to improve client decision-making
  • Collaborate with clients to develop clear business and measurement objectives
  • Maintain functional expertise in one or more of the following disciplines; database marketing, integrated channel marketing (including web), analytical tools, techniques, and other infrastructure requirements
  • Apply quantitative methods to analyze and interpret information from multiple data sources
  • Document assumptions and benchmark metrics against industry, competition and existing Digitas client work, identifying source(s) of data and verify data integrity.
  • Ensure that the quality and timeliness of measurement deliverables meet client expectations
  • Manage various external vendors: online - content management, data analysis, research tools, 3rd party ad server, offline - response, letter shop, telemarketing vendors
  • Provide data interpretation, design models and track results across multiple marketing channels using various data sources
  • Experience in developing and presenting client insights, recommendations, financial model structure and results is also required.
  • Provides direction to Analysts and Senior Analysts on all aspects of client deliverables
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years working in Management Consulting, Marketing, Advertising, or Interactive/ Technology Consulting
  • BA/BS and MBA or Masters degree in marketing, statistics, mathematics, economics, psychology or other relevant graduate degree
  • Proven experience in developing and executing CRM strategy required
  • Experience managing and coordinating multiple projects across internal teams
  • General knowledge of database design and applications
  • Technical knowledge of data flow sources, log file analysis, site measurement tools, cookie and query string implementation
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, segmentation, research, lifetime value, ROI
  • Proficient in analytical tools, SAS, SQL, Excel, and software Word, PowerPoint, Project
  • Must be willing to travel
