Belfast, UK A postdoctoral research position is available in the Computational Biology and Machine Learning group at Queen�s University Belfast (UK). The Computational Biology and Machine Learning group is in the Center for Cancer Research and Cell Biology and studies molecular biological questions on a pathway level by designing and developing computational and statistical methods. We are especially interested in network based analysis. (For more information visit www.bio-complexity.com) The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics or related quantitative fields. Strong programming skills in a Linux environment such as R/python/C and a solid mathematical background. Experience with the analysis of micorarray data, gene networks and gene ontology is desirable.
