Which analytical fields are likely to experience growth, and why?

I am focused on the use of analytics in operational systems -- the automation and improvement of high-volume, operational decisions - rather than their use for one-off insight. To date the major uses of analytics in operational systems have been in fraud detection and risk ? credit and insurance risk particularly. I think the expansion in the use of analytics will increasingly come from growth-centric decisions such as marketing, cross-sell, up-sell and overall customer treatment.
