Join us as a Product Manager - Mortgage Backed Securities Information working among the smartest and most often-quoted mortgage information professionals in the business. You will play a key role in developing, launching, maintaining, and upgrading TrueStandings Securities, our web-based analytics, reporting and data delivery solution for our mortgage-backed securities data. You will also be responsible for integrating other cross-product data initiatives with our securities data via the TrueStandings and other platforms. The responsibilities of this position also include executing client-requested initiatives specific to the securities investor segment, as well as identifying, addressing, and fulfilling "ahead of the curve" securities data opportunities and solutions that will both increase and deepen our client base.

Note: This position can be located in San Francisco, Sacramento or Santa Ana, CA.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Minimum BA/BS degree (Master's preferred) in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' exposure/experience in mortgage-backed securities data and information
  • Excellent product management and business analysis skills
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to specify risk metrics based on mortgage-backed securities and other data
  • Ability to assess product opportunities through market research and client feedback to develop market sizing, pricing, costing and ROI analyzes
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and how to leverage them within a business intelligence solution
  • Experience in working with MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, SQL Editor and business intelligence tools (preferably MicroStrategy)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), team driven, client-focused and strong innovation/creativity
Preferred:
  • Secondary marketing and/or trading mortgage-backed securities a plus
  • Experience in working with offshore development teams
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project methodology
