This position requires someone with comprehensive knowledge in the field of statistics, data analysis and data mining methodologies. The ideal candidate should be a team player and will work in our R&D team.

Responsibilities: Analysis and modeling of large medical claims databases; Enhancement of currently defined models and heuristic applications; Development of customized models; Programming predictive modeling algorithms

Requirements

• Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in quantitative discipline: statistics, applied math, data mining, machine learning, operations research, computer science, etc.
• Comprehensive understanding of some of the following quantitative methods: regression, classification, cluster analysis, decision trees, hypothesis testing, neural nets, SVM, time series, outlier identification, etc.
• Extreme attention to details; Team player
• Strong proficiency in SAS; Experience with C++ and SQL
• Experience with large data sets, experience in the field of health care, good publications, all are a plus
