As a Marketing Manager, you will have the responsibility to own, manage and grow select target segments. The ideal candidate will leverage segmentation insights to become the expert in target needs, develop segment specific positioning, value proposition and brand benefits, and translate them into integrated marketing initiatives that help grow the business.

You will work closely with a wide range of internal partners, including product marketing, communications and channels to ensure appropriate programs designs and delivery to market; and partner with market research and other analytical groups to test effectiveness of potential initiatives. You will have a demonstrated history of thorough understanding of customer segmentation, developing marketing strategies and integrating programs across multiple functions. Key elements of this role include strong strategic and analytical thinking, ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence constituencies across the organization. You will have proven history of post graduate level work developing customer centric strategies and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with market research to identify and refine unmet customer needs within target segments.
  • Responsibilities include identification of market potential, definition of business objectives, building a business case, establishing of market strategies, estimation of financial implications, and development of integrated marketing programs along with success measures.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of an in depth evaluation of target related metrics (size, growth, migration, etc)
  • Collaborate with product marketing to explore and develop product concepts that address consumers needs
  • Collaborate with multi-channel distribution to gain alignment, address needs, and influence channel strategies.
  • Support the design of activation plans that address business objectives, increase market share, or meet other specific metrics
  • Work closely with marketing communications and other cross-functional teams to execute initiatives, develop campaigns and materials to effectively meet business objectives
  • Lead the analysis and presentation of key results to senior marketing team for review.
  • Work as an individual contributor to drive projects cross functionally
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications or equivalent plus 7-10 years experience in a consumer marketing-driven organization.
  • Have thorough understanding of customer segmentation and management techniques, as well as the business and products supported and the regulations impacting them.
  • Proven ability to integrate marketing strategies and programs across multiple sectors.
  • Industry experience in Insurance or closely related industries that serves large national accounts through multiple sales channels.
  • Solid, analytical, organization, communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly collaborative.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
