This position will require the individual to be familiar with Agile software development practices and comfortable in an environment that supports short iteration cycles with frequent releases.

Experience with established technology based companies like Amazon, Yahoo, Google, IBM, and Microsoft is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans, test cases, test scenarios and test scripts to meet functional requirements.
• Plan and execute tests for Internet applications and analyze the results.
• Use commercial automated test tools and aid in the creation of custom automated test tools.
• Document test results and communicate them to the team.
• Prioritize many tasks in an agile, fast paced environment.
• Use automated testing tools for defect tracking and issue resolution.

• 2 to 5 years of QA testing experience in a web-based environment.
• Certification in software quality engineering or equivalent is an asset.
• Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively
• Ability to remain focused in a team-oriented, dynamic, and highly agile environment
• Experience in executing tests and analyzing results.
• Clear understanding of business requirements and test strategies as they apply to projects with a solid understanding of web development life cycle.
• Expert knowledge and experience in tracking problems and defects.
• Experience in writing test documentation.
