Subject: Poll Results: Support for Universal Health Care

The previous KDnuggets Poll asked: Do you support universal, single-payer, health care system in the US?

Although universal health care will not pass in the US congress this year, it is supported by a broad majority of KDnuggets readers:

  • 64% Yes
  • 27% No
  • 9% Not sure
Looking at the results by country, about 80% of the voters from the US, and among them 60% voted Yes, and 30% No. Among non-US voters, 78% voted yes and 22% were not sure, with not a single No vote.
