Job Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the Coach Advanced Analytics team that will execute projects through predictive analytics, customer segmentation and modeling, ad hoc business analytics and customer behavior reporting in support of internal global business partners
  • Work together with Marketing and Strategy leadership to set priorities for the work of the team in service of Coach's overall priorities
  • Design, develop and implement analytical models using appropriate data mining and statistical tools, analyze results and work cross-functionally to generate actionable recommendations
  • Identify and manage outside vendor relationships, where appropriate
  • Take a leadership role in attracting, developing and retaining the talent on the Advanced Analytics team
Required Skills
  • Balanced expertise in data analytics (methods and application), relevant supporting technology, and business acumen
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional oral, written and formal presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to generate innovative insights from rigorous analysis
  • Experience managing projects, including ability to provide direction to others and successfully generate results
  • Experience working cross-functionally, managing others through influence
  • High level of comfort presenting to, interacting with and advising senior executives
Qualifications
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree; Advanced degree in Applied Statistics, Data Mining, Operations Research or equivalent is strongly preferred
  • At least 10 years total relevant work experience with at least 5 years in quantitatively intensive role, preferably focused on analyzing retail customer data
  • Experience with a broad range of data mining and optimization applications including: SPSS or SAS, Clementine, SQL, .Net, Web Analytic tools, Business Intelligence tools, etc.
