Work with the relevant teams to prototype new applications. Oversee the selection and implementation of all statistics-related applications, both to own group, and to "power users" within the broader analyst community, as appropriate. Manage ad hoc consulting projects to internal users groups as required Build / sustain relationships with various academic institutions, including the publication of related work (from the team), as appropriate. Requirements Graduate degree in Statistics, or a related discipline, preferably PhD, with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning/ongoing professional development 5-7 years industry experience with a broad range of toolsets and statistical applications with household/ individual level datasets. Marketing focus to prior experience a definite asset, but not essential. Excels in both academic and highly applied environments: pushing the edge of the envelope conceptually, while always working toward actionable solutions to identified business problems. Demonstrated ability to manage projects to clear timelines in a consulting and/or product development environment. Strong presentation skills: the ability to explain complex statistical constructs to non-expert audiences Highly self-directed in both the conception and execution of application-specific products and services.
