Subject: RE: request for information

KDnuggets readers: I am developing a book with the working title: "multivariate statistical approaches to market segmentation" for a major research publisher. Essentially, this will be a broad based effort to put together most of the current data mining approaches in considerable applied depth (where possible) in one general reference.  I am interested in going beyond "This is data mining" to "What will/can it do for me" and "How do I put it to use".  I would be most interested in gathering books, articles, studies, cases, first person, or reports especially for financial services area (Wall Street, if possible) and any efforts of tying/integrating/using sophisticated data mining tools with very large ERP databases (SAP, ORACLE, BAAN, PEOPLESOFT).  My goal is to have this be a definitive reference, at least for a couple of months until everything changes again!  Submissions will be duly referenced and applauded (lauded!) in the Forward.  Thanks for any helpful background info, including other books on the topic (assume I haven't located any), or "what would you like to see in it?" types of responses.
