Kennedy kate.kennedy@rrbentley.com Subject: Fireman's Fund Data Mining Position RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage the staff in developing, executing and delivering analytical work plans to generate business insights or support business hypothesis. * Develop innovative programs to enhance the profitability and viability of the business through effective application of sophisticated analytic on customer information. * Manage multiple project teams and analysis in customer segmentation, profitability analysis, predictive modeling and other data mining/analysis to enable the successful execution of segment strategies across business units. * Manage the design and analysis of direct marketing campaigns using sophisticated experimental design and modeling techniques. Manage the capture of feedback and economic and statistical analysis of response to recommend future refinement of marketing programs. * Generate and prioritize new business ideas and articulate analytical paths and infrastructure requirements. * Develop, mentor and motivate staff to improve skills and productivity of the entire unit. REQUIREMENTS: * Six to eight years of experience in a dynamic, consumer driven environment. At least three years of this experience should be in a management role. * Experience with customer segmentation and data-mining techniques is required. Prior hands-on experience preferred. * Ability to perform and explain advanced statistical analysis using inferential statistics. * Consulting experience and/or industry in direct marketing or database marketing highly desirable. * Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Business in a quantitative area of study preferred.
