My name is Bjorn Mantals and I'm a last year student business engineering in management informatics. For my thesis (big endwork) I chose data mining as topic and I'm also working on a practical project with Clementine, which is very challenging and interesting. What I still miss for my thesis is information on the DM market, like: - how big was and is the DM market (in money and users) and does it grow ? - which kind of companies mostly use DM tools, especially Clementine ? - what are the forecasts for DM in general, do analysts expect it to expand a lot more, ... - which are the biggest players ? - ... Especially recent data on the DM users and market size would be of great value for me. I hope you can answer to these questions or at least tell me where I could find this information.
