*  Collaborate in the design and development of Oracle's Data Mining
products. Design and develop state-of-the-art Machine Learning,
Statistical
Analysis and Visualization software modules. Collaborate with software
engineers to integrate these modules into different products' software
architectures.  Provide parallelism, performance enhancements, RDBMS
and Internet integration for these modules.

* Provide technical and scientific expertise in core areas for Data
Mining and KDD: Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics
and High Performance Computing, to the Data Mining Technology
development organization and the company in general. Help to find
innovative solutions to Data Mining problems and applications.

* Help to evaluate competing, new or strategic technologies and
algorithms for current or future releases of Data Mining/KDD products
(DB server, toolsets/applications, web-mining and e-commerce).

* Represent the company in relevant conferences, workshops, trade shows
or standard's forums and follow Data Mining/KDD literature and trends in
the KDD academic and commercial communities.

Basic Requirements:

* Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Statistics or Computational Learning Theory.
* Proven record of publications in referred journals in the KDD or
related fields.
* At least three-year professional software development experience in
C++/Java.
* Familiarity with Oracle's RDBMS/PL-SQL.
