dear sirs! I am searching for field studies about the use of multivariate data analysis in the marketing practice in the usa. (for example, how many companies use factor analysis, how often, to answer what marketing questions etc... the same applies to regression analysis, discriminance analysis, etc..) i am at the beginning of my master thesis about the use of multivariate data analysis in austria and international comparability is very important. if you could help me, i am of course willing to share all my findings with you. maybe they could make a nice part of an article in the newsletter. maybe this article is of interest for software producers that might market in austria. if you need a confirmation from the department i'm writing for (international marketing and management), i submit one with my next mail. yours sincerely gerald bauer
