If you happen to have a completed work on applications of data mining methods for knowledge discovery in medicine you might be interested in submitting them by the end of November 1999 for quick inclusion in the book. The chapter must be written very clearly to appeal to a diverse audience of medical doctors, computer scientists, and engineers. Of interest are applications of any data mining methods to any type of medical data as long as the size of the used database is substantial.
