Dynamic consulting firm that engineers predictive models and decision support solutions for a wide range of applications and industries seeks senior data miner/model developer for long-term engagement with key financial-industry client.

Technical Requirements:

• MS or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering
• Experience with Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic, Expert Systems, or other AI techniques
• Demonstrated creative quantitative problem-solving skills
• Experience with SAS, Matlab, and relational databases

Business Requirements:

• 3+ years of industry experience including the implementation of a large-scale predictive modeling/data mining project
• Excellent communication skills
• Technical project management experience
• Experience in developing credit risk or fraud models for the financial industry is desirable
