OVERVIEW

 The First International Workshop on Rule-Based Data Mining focuses on data
 mining techniques, tools, and applications that employ a rule-based formalism
 as a primary component in roles including but not limited to the primary
 representational formalism. Plans are underway for accepted papers to be
 published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.

SUGGESTED TOPICS

 association rule mining, rule induction, probabilistic rule-based systems,
 performance evaluation techniques, temporal and sequential data,
 bioinformatics and scientific applications, visualization of rule-based
 systems, applications in industry, descriptions of deployed systems
