The Asia-Pacific Bioinformatics Conference series is an annual forum for exploring research, development and novel applications of Bioinformatics. The First Asia-Pacific Bioinformatics Conference, APBC'03, will be held at Flinders University and hosted by the South Australian Consortium for Information Technology as part of the Australasian Computer Science Week.

We invite submissions that address conceptual and practical issues of bioinformatics. The main objective of this conference is to bring together researchers in all aspects of computer-based management of biological data.
