My client is looking for someone with Modern Regression Techniques i.e., linear techniques, decision trees, function estimation, training set, etc. This is someone that is going to take the search experience, to the next level of relevant results by applying their strong analytics background to alternative data preparations.

Duties: Responsible for the application of Machine Learning techniques to the various ranking domains within the search experience, including Web text search. As a senior member of the product engineering team collaborate with other technical leads to scientifically experiment with alternative data preparations and training methods to improve relevancy. Strong analytic skills required.

Minimum Requirements: Rigorous knowledge and application of modern regression techniques in a product setting. 7 years of hands-on S/W development in a product environment using 'C' / C++. Knowledge of and experience with Information Retrieval techniques a big plus. Good communication skills, must work in a team environment.

Qualifications: BS or MS in Math/Statistics or related fields.
