Role

Responsible for the delivery of ongoing mortgage modeling and analytical projects (both production and R&D), the role will involve managing, co-ordinating and mentoring multi-disciplinary teams of statisticians, database analysts and technologists.

The role will involve developing close working relationships at a senior level with both internal teams (virtual and onsite) and external client personnel.

To be successful in this role will require high standards of professionalism, ethics and people management skills.

Responsibilities

Work with management to develop and grow highly visible cross-functional delivery teams that will deliver quality analytical projects in the area of mortgage prepayment analytics.

Mentor and support analytical delivery teams, and play an active role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest possible standards.

To be actively involved in branding and marketing LoanPerformance's analytical capabilities and to participate in industry conferences and exhibitions on best practices data mining techniques.

Essential Requirements

• Three + years experience in a commercial data analysis environment.
• Strong SAS, SPSS or equivalent analytical skill sets.
• Strong sector background in financial services, preferably in the mortgage finance area.
• Proven leadership and team building experience.
• Postgraduate qualification in statistics, mathematics, economics or business studies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the 'ability to think on his/her feet', ability to engage with both the business and analytical community.

Compensation

Compensation will be in line with the level of experience.
