We are looking for an experienced senior software engineer to join the Yahoo Search and Marketplace data reporting team. In this position you will be responsible for the design and development of core components of a unified data platform to support various businesses. This advanced infrastructure is comprised of distributed components that will be leveraged by several Yahoo! properties. You should have a BS/MS in Computer Science with 5+ years of experience in system software programming on a UNIX platform (FreeBSD a plus), strong C/C++, Perl and scripting skills, and advanced analysis and trouble-shooting aptitude at both the coding and architecture levels. Knowledge of PHP, Apache, and MySql is also desirable.
