Position Background

APT's flagship software application is a J2EE web application. Our applications apply advanced pattern recognition, machine learning, and optimization algorithms to critical business issues. We seek engineers who are excited by the prospect of working in a high-impact, smaller, organizational environment, focusing on producing advanced analytical software solutions for leading corporations.

Position Responsibilities

You will work as a member our development team in designing and implementing new application features. The complex and exciting challenges of this development include issues of application scalability, availability, robustness, object-oriented design, data warehouse optimization, and incorporation of new technologies into the software and supporting operations.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, self directed professional
  • Superior academic record at a leading national university
  • BS in Computer Science (or Applied Mathematics / Systems Engineering)
  • Demonstrated analytical / quantitative skills
  • Development experience and strong technical competence with object-oriented programming
  • Experience with relational databases
