ITI Scotland, launched in Autumn 2003, are Scotland's new Intermediary Technology Institutes and have committed funding of �450m over the next 10 years. It aims to investigate the markets, services, products and potential in the energy, life sciences and digital media and communications sectors and evaluate Scotland's ability to develop cutting-edge technology to meet global market needs. Where such opportunities arise, ITI Scotland will commission research to develop market-driven intellectual property that can be commercialised to stimulate long-term, sustainable growth.

Managing the design, development and commercialisation of a multi $m research and development program with a number of academic and commercial partners in the UK and US, you will be responsible for driving the creation of NLP based text mining engine for use in biotech/pharma industries.

Technical Skills:
Eight years + of advanced research and industry experience in data mining, information retrieval, and natural language processing.

Proven track record in project management and product delivery.

Solid leadership skills and experience in building engineering teams and mentoring first-level technical leads.

Professional Skills:
Strong written and oral communication skills

Be able to work in a fast-pace environment and meet exciting technology challenges
