Subject: Chicago, IL: Data mining professional/statistician at Open Data Partners

Open Data Partners, a growing Chicago based provider of outsourced data and analytical services, is hiring a data mining professional/statistician.

MS (PhD preferred) in statistics, mathematics, or related area is required. Three to five years of industry experience analyzing data for marketing, financial services, and/or related applications, as well as familiarity with logistic regression, segmentation, tree-based classifiers, or related methods required. The position requires someone who is independent and able to meet deadlines. US citizenship is required.

Open Data's philosophy is to use an open source infrastructure based upon Linux, R, Python, etc. for data mining and outsourced analytical services. An interest in contributing to this infrastructure is desirable but not a requirement for the position.
