The Decision and Information Technologies Faculty invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant or Associate level in Statistics. We are seeking candidates with a strong commitment to high-quality research and a commensurate record of research publications. The D&IT faculty at the University of Maryland (http://www.rhsmith.umd.edu/dit/) is a vibrant group actively engaged in theoretical and applied research spanning information systems, operations management, management science, and statistics. The Robert H. Smith School of Business has nationally ranked MBA and undergraduate programs, as well as a strong doctoral program.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Statistics or related fields, and an application focus in electronic markets, operations management, or health delivery systems. They would be expected to teach statistics and statistical analysis to undergrads, MBA's and PhD Students.
