This position will be responsible for the design and implementation of algorithms for the classification and mining of structured and unstructured data streams. This includes: using supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques to find patterns and relationships in the data, classification, clustering, detection of anomalies, information indexing and retrieval, and data visualization and summarization. This is an academic professional position at NCSA and is a 12-month, 100%-time appointment with regular University benefits. Salary commensurate with experience.
