Subject: Chicago, IL: Research Programmer/Engineer at National Center for Data Mining at UIC

The National Center for Data Mining (NCDM) at UIC is looking for a software engineer to help develop software tools, as part of a multi-institution NSF supported cyberinfrastructure project. Experience with databases required. Experience with video data, data analysis, and/or web portals desired. Experience with multiple programming languages required. Familarity with Linux, Mac OS, and Win NT desired. This is a visiting full-time one year position.

Bachelor�s degree in a technical field is required. Master�s degree preferred.
Must have at least 2 years working experience in programming.
