JOB PURPOSE:
The core of the activities is supporting our sales representatives in selling our Decisioning and Marketing solutions and helping our clients implementing the solutions. Decision Management is a new arena for most of our customers and prospects. Therefore an important part of the role is to help our clients change the way they think and work. The consultant will find opportunities for bottom line benefits through predictive analytics and real-time decisioning. On the basis of that you should be able to advise and help the client realizing those opportunities for improvement.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing / Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in pre-sales and/or delivery business consulting roles
  • Experience in the telecom or retail finance industry
  • Experience in Implementing decisioning, creating decision logic / business rules
  • Sales & service processes in direct channels (call centres, internet, �)
Nice to have:
  • Practical knowledge of databases (Oracle / DB2), data management tools, reporting BI/tools (Business Objects / Cognos), machine learning
  • Experience with data mining solutions
  • Experience with campaign management solution(s)
  • Any knowledge or experience of Credit Risk Management / Basell II
COMPETENCIES
  • Open-minded (and therefore willing to do things differently)
  • Analytical in their approach and therefore willing to dig-in and understand the data and to leverage creative thinking and problem-solving skills when necessary
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - must be able to explain concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide audience and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses
  • Strong business orientation, especially with a customer focused company
  • Proven ability to influence thinking within a customer organisation in areas like marketing, sales, contact centres, credit risk, etc.
  • 100% flexible on travel, this can be a home based position from Germany or the Netherlands but you will need to be able to do European travel
  • Fluent in German and English
QUALIFICATIONS
Academic education in a quantitative area; preferably in econometrics, direct marketing, business administration; Computer Sciences; Artificial Intelligence
