We are inviting review articles of the recent advances in microarray data analysis, especially critical reviews of the presentations at CAMDA 2000. CAMDA 2000 was held at Duke University Medical Center on December 19-20, 2000. Attended by 250 biologists, statisticians, computer scientists and mathematicians from 7 countries, the conference truly brought together the major players in this field. From 32 poster presentations, fourteen papers were presented orally. Abstracts for CAMDA 2000 papers are available at www.camda.duke.edu. These reviews are not limited to papers and posters appeared in CAMDA2000, and should provide an overall view of microarray data analysis. Topics for the review could be, but are not limited to: Experimental design Data Normalization Data Visualization Pattern Recognition Algorithm development Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery Selected reviews will be published in the conference proceedings and invited for an oral presentation at CAMDA 2001. The submission deadline is July 8, 2001. Prospective authors are encouraged to send a one-page abstract ASAP to camda01@canctr.mc.duke.edu.
