Senior MIS Tracking/Data Warehouse Manager in Department: Business Planning & Analysis

Great opportunity to join the ecommerce department of a leading NYC based financial services company.

The Senior MIS Tracking/Data Warehouse Manager will utilize their technical/programming skills to build and maintain the data warehouse.

In addition to supervising two data analysts, they will be responsible for managing all systems projects, automating and improving processes to produce error free, accurate information, improving productivity of business processes and implementing tight audit controls on data integrity. In this role the manager will work closely with business and financial analysts to manage production and ad hoc based information requirements/needs.

Essential Requirements

• Business expert with 3-5 years programming experience in SAS, SQL and VB (all 3 required)
• VBA, MVS/TSO/JCL, IBM mainframe, Unix, DB2, Oracle a plus
• Data warehousing knowledge/experience essential
• 1+ years supervisory experience required
• 1+ years project management experience required
• BS/MS in computer science, information technology and operations research
• Advanced PC skills (Excel/Access/Word)
• Superior interpersonal & communication skills
• Demonstrated success in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
• Financial Services or Internet Industry experience a plus
• Demonstrated success in priority setting and time management with multiple priorities

• Data Warehousing/SQL
• Strong People Management (min staff of 2, full responsibility e.g.,performance management, raises, etc.)
• should have either UNIX or Windows NT and either db2 or Oracle or MS SQL server
• Preferred: project management experience
• A Plus:
  VBA and/or mainframe and/or SAS
  BS/MS in computer science, information technology or operations management
