E-centives acquires assets of Brightstreet, developer of consumer data tracking profiles

Combination provides unique data tracking capabilities to help Consumer Packaged Goods companies build and promote direct consumer relationships

(SWX: ECEN), a leading provider of online direct marketing technologies and services, today announced that it has completed its acquisition of the assets of BrightStreet, Inc., a developer of sophisticated promotional and data tracking technologies which provide a new level of consumer and data insights.

BrightStreet has developed leading, patented technologies for companies to identify, build and manage consumer databases with precise consumer purchase profiles. This technology and infrastructure is used for powering a variety of promotional offerings, including coupons, rebates, sales circulars, surveys, trial offers and loyalty programs.
