At ClearCommerce, the Sr. Risk Management Analyst plays a key role in ensuring continued success of our Risk Management solution. This individual serves multiple functions related to Risk Management, including R&D, professional services and technical sales support. This position offers qualified individuals the opportunity to help develop technology tackling one of the major challenges in electronic commerce and work closely with a portfolio of world- class clients.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve the company�s infrastructure and process for developing predictive models for fraud detection.
• Using a variety of data mining tools and techniques, analyze customer transaction data to identify fraud patterns and recommend countermeasures. Develop customized predictive models based on customer-specific data. Present results to customers and make recommendations.
• Support key customers during product deployment by providing both product and risk management expertise.
• Support the Sales team on pre-sales activities, including product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations.
• Interface with the Marketing team to provide content for marketing collateral related to the risk management products.
• Develop and maintain domain expertise in online risk management, keep abreast with emerging fraud trends, actively participate to industry forums.
• Develop and maintain in-depth understanding of competitors risk management products and services along with ClearCommerce's risk management products and services.
• Provide user requirements for risk management product and service enhancements and additions to business area leader and product management.
• Collect and communicate market feedback on ClearCommerce risk management products and services to business area leader and product management.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields. Graduate degree desired.
• Minimum 3 years experience in data mining and analytics.
• Strong data manipulation skills; knowledge of SQL and Perl is a must. Prior experience with SPSS Clementine or similar data mining suites desired.
• Prior experience in working directly with customers in a consulting or customer service role.
• Good understanding of the software development processes and computer technology concepts. Prior experience in working within or in close interaction with a software development team highly desired.
• Prior experience in fraud detection applications, in particular in the credit card industry a major plus.
• Self-driven and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
