The Department of Business Analytic Solutions is concerned with research and development of machine learning and data mining techniques for predictive modeling of customer behavior related to various product portfolios and channels across the organization, including the internet. The Department offers a stimulating working environment for R&D and encourages publications in scientific journals and conferences.

Applicants must have a PhD in Computer Science or related field with good math background and experience in one or more of the fields of machine learning, data mining, predictive modelling, statistical inference, pattern recognition. Good programming experience in C++/Java/Matlab and SQL will be considered as a strong asset.

The position is immediately available and is based in Toronto, Canada. The position reports to the General Manager and group leader.
