• application of advanced analytics including neural networks, radial basis functions, genetic algorithms, knowledge-based expert systems, and custom analytic solutions for pattern recognition, knowledge discovery, event identification, time series prediction, traffic analysis;
• advanced algorithm development for modeling and simulation, harmonic analysis and numeric cartography;
• machine learning, including semantic and lexical applications;
• data mining including data visualization, knowledge discovery, and predictive models;

OPPORTUNITY:

Responsibilities will be to conceptualize solutions to problems and participate as a member of project teams chartered with the design and implementation of automated application systems that implement the conceptualized solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates will also have sufficient software development expertise to implement prototypes of hypothesized solutions that solve customer's problems. Greater skill in software development skills is a large plus, but is secondary to analytic expertise.

Qualified applicants must also possess the following personal attributes: very strong problem-solving skills, the ability to grasp a problem and propose potential solutions, the capability to complete projects within schedule bounds, the ability to work well in a team environment, and good communication skills (written and oral) for presentation of results to the customer. Applicants must be self-directed, detail-oriented, reliable, responsible, and well organized.

Location of Work: Melbourne, Florida Travel: Occasional travel required Degree: B.S. in Computational Linguistics, applied mathematics, or Computer Science is required. Advanced degree is highly desirable
