June 6, 2004, Somerville, MA and Seattle, WA - Spotfire, Inc., provider of interactive, visual analytics software, and Insightful Corporation (NASDAQ:IFUL), a leading provider of software solutions for statistical data analysis, today announced a framework agreement where Insightful has licensed to Spotfire its embeddable S-PLUS® OEM Toolkit for the purpose of generating a series of comprehensive analytic solutions across key business processes. The resulting applications are expected to integrate selected S-PLUS routines and libraries within Spotfire’s DecisionSite visual analytic application creating a series of easy-to-use, yet powerful analytic solutions designed to be deployed to large communities of business users.

Insightful’s S-PLUS is statistical data analysis software designed to delve deep into companies’ operational information to provide new insights and predictive results.
