RiverGlass Inc., a spin-off company from NCSA (National Center for Supercomputing Applications), has an immediate opening for Senior Software Developer in our Champaign office. RiverGlass (www.riverglassinc.com) develops powerful software for real-time streaming data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities focus on the development of high quality Java subsystems for various products. Candidate must have the following knowledge:

  • Fluent in Java Programming language
  • Extensive knowledge of object oriented programming techniques
  • Conversant in at least one other computer programming language
  • Strong familiarity with web applications and Java techniques supporting web application development
Strong candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction. Knowledge in the areas of numeric techniques, RFID applications, data analysis or security applications are beneficial.
