The University of California Data Mining Contest provides a forum for teams to test their data mining skills on real-world data sets. This year teams competed to build a system that correctly predicts useful information about a customer's account based on the history of transactions such as: Classification - Predicting whether an account is bad; and Time Series Analysis - Predicting when an account turns bad.
