The role:

The role of Data Analyst sits within the centre of excellence for analytics. You will be proactively involved in the development of advanced analytical techniques to increase understanding of customers, risks and opportunities in customer behaviour.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

• Presenting clear insight to senior stakeholders at clients across the business
• Being instrumental in solving critical and complex business questions about customer/prospect behaviour
• Developing tools for increasing the effectiveness of client customer contact plans/campaigns and deliver increased Return On Investment for the business
• Agreeing and coping strategy for analytical research and communicate to key business interfaces
• Managing research projects according to strategy and promote project findings into appropriate forums through key interfaces which include Client teams, Programme Managers and New Business Development
• Exploring the integration of future data streams into existing and planned analyses

• Qualified beyond degree standard, in disciplines containing a high content of statistics, computing and mathematics
• Practical experience of scorecard development and maintenance
• Excellent communications skills, including written reports and presentations to board level
• Technologically literate with good database knowledge and PC skills including programming (SQL, Business Objects, Excel preferable)
• Knowledge and experience of application of analytics to customer/prospect value generation
