To work on "Decentralised data and information systems - modelling large, complex, dynamic systems with heterogeneous, uncertain, and imperfect data sources". These research associate positions and studentships are available for a period of three years. Working under the direction of Professor David J Hand, you will be expected to have a sound grounding in statistics, machine learning, or a closely related discipline, and to have solid computational skills. Candidates for the research associate positions are also expected to have a PhD in statistics, machine learning, or a closely related discipline. The research associate posts are available for three years. Salary will be in the range of £22,870 to £33,330 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The PhD studentships will comprise a bursary of £12,500 per annum plus Home/EU tuition fees.
