Description: CAE is a Research Institute to investigate fraud, waste and abuse
in the US crop insurance system. The position will be part of a
research team to develop scenarios, models, and to identify risk
factors. CAE has been data-mining the entire US crop insurance system
from 1990 to 2005.

Qualifications:
- M.A. in Statistics or closely related field or BS degree statistics or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in statistical analysis, data discovery, data mining, and statistical modeling with large data sets.
- Knowledge of regression and modeling techniques, nonlinear models, optimization algorithms.
- Demonstrated Proficiency with mathematical and statistical packages such as SAS, R(S+), Stata, Matlab, or SPSS a must.
- Proven ability to turn research into working software algorithms.
- Apply quantitative and relatively advanced statistical concepts to large datasets.
- Design and implement software for the analytic models.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- USDA clearance and background check.
