RCI is a subsidiary of Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD) and is the worldwide market leader in vacation property exchange. RCI's Global Consumer Analytics team supports RCI's businesses in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific and South Africa.

The Global Consumer Analytics team is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work in our Parsippany, NJ headquarters.

The Global Consumer Analytics team provides analytical expertise and business/ marketing insights to a range of stakeholders within the marketing team at RCI. The team provides analyses and recommendations in support of marketing strategy and marketing campaign execution. Our aim is to perform ad hoc and proactive data mining and apply a range of analysis techniques and statistical models to help maximize the revenue potential of each customer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform analysis to support new Marketing initiatives and improve effectiveness of existing ones. This will include:
    • Post Campaign Analysis of Marketing Campaigns
    • Customer, product and channel portfolio analysis
  • Work with internal customers to understand business/ marketing initiatives and strategy at various levels and provide suitable analysis.
  • Understand RCI's databases, translate business questions into data needs and use SAS to extract the data.
  • Apply quantitative and data mining methods to analyze, synthesize and interpret the data from these multiple sources.
  • Business problem solving using data, intuition, hypotheses setting and testing.
  • Present analysis results in Powerpoint, Excel (including Pivot Tables) etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree. Quantitative Masters /MBA is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Marketing, Market Research and Marketing Strategy development is desired. Candidates with business or financial strategy experience may apply.
  • The ideal candidate should have the ability to rapidly become proficient at their key responsibilities and soon thereafter start leading analysis projects independently.
  • A solid academic background with a quantitative bias. Knowledge of /experience in data mining/ statistics / quantitative marketing will be a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Extremely articulate.
  • Computer literacy and programming experience. Selected candidate will have to undergo SAS training.
  • Able to handle multiple projects at one time and work in a deadline driven environment.
  • Interest in travel and understanding of travel industry is a plus.
