As a Senior Scoring & Strategy Officer you will be responsible for completing project-based modeling and analysis using a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative techniques to solve complex risk assessment-related problems with significant business benefits. The position devises, defines, develops and implements risk assessment strategies consistent with Company strategic and tactical direction, structures a vast majority of statistical modeling, data analysis and qualitative research and explores avenues of research suggested by analytical findings or experience. The successful candidate will also structure and complete risk assessment-based modeling; define the analytical approach adopted to ensure total gains resulting from implementation of approved strategies are and manage and monitor systems implementation of scorecards and algorithms developed within the function.

In addition, the incumbent will identify opportunities for developing new ways to use scoring and related technology, provide specialized advice and information on scoring and risk-related issues and develop an awareness of scoring and its uses across the Organization.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years proven and progressive statistical analysis/scoring experience, preferably in a credit/marketing function and a masters degree in a statistical/mathematical/operational/econometric research area.
  • Demonstrated experience in using PC SAS/mainframe SAS is essential.
  • Strong analytical, project management, negotiations, and leadership skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are critical.
